- Have been teaching piano full-time, since year 2007.
- Good With young Children: Completed Encore Keys Training and KinderBeat Training (for 4 years old) in 2021.
- Completed Baby Music Program (for 3+ years old) in 2019.
- Familiar with popular local examination boards: Prepared students for ABRSM, ANZCA, LCM, Con Brio online/recorded practical graded examinations.
- Groom my students’ performance skills: Organised and collaborated for students’ onsite performances since year 2010 as well as virtual performances from year 2020.
- Familiar with online teaching platforms and set ups: Organised annual interactive online group lessons. Conducted piano lessons and string ensemble CCA online in year 2020.
- Familiar with music apps: Rearranged, simplified, created skeleton scores and provided simple backing tracks for my modern/pop syllabus students and pre-scholars. Transcribed scores for string ensembles.
- Piano accompanist for strings exam candidates at Yang Music Center.
Ensemble Skills:
- Founded Tampines Strings in 2024.
- Assisted a conductor to prepare primary schools’ string ensembles for SYF and school events from 2018-2022. Previous assigned primary schools included Maris Stella, Frontier, Palm View, GreenWood, Riverside, and Gong Shang.
- Taught violin in introductory and enrichment classes in primary schools.
- Relief teaching of strings in primary schools’ CCA from 2018-2022. Previous assignments include Northland, Princess Elizabeth, Henry Park and ACS Primary.
- Violist in Indooroopilly Chamber Orchestra (2003-2004).

- Chia Jing Ting achieved 1st class honours for ANZCA grade 3 exam in 2021.
- Aarav Karthik, Wu YiZe, Goh Kwa Han, Jewel Ng achieved 1st class honours for ANZCA grade 1 exam in 2021.
- Nethra Guruvayurappan achieved distinction for recorded LCM grade 5 exam in year 2020.
- Chia Jing Ting achieved 1st class honours for ANZCA grade 1 exam in 2020.
- Lee Yuan achieved High distinction for ABRSM grade 8 exam in year 2016.
- Eugene Ho achieved High distinction for ABRSM grade 7 exam in year 2015.
- Alvin Wang achieved Full score for ABRSM theory exams grade 2 in (approx) year 2009.
- Jubille Toh-Chin achieved Full score for ABRSM theory exams grade 5 in (approx) year 2009.
- Prepared Liu Wing Lam partially for Cristofori Junior piano competition. She was a finalist twice.
- Liu Wing Lam achieved Received a Top Student Award in year 2009 from Cristofori Music School, Singapore.
